Sandra and her family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1964 from New Jersey. Sandra graduated from high school in 1974 and joined the United States Army in 1975. She served her country for several years and in 1986 she was hired to work for the United States Postal Service. Sandra began cycling in 1990, joined the St. Petersburg Bicycle Club and has been hooked ever since! She began racing in triathlons in 1991.
In 1993 Boston Bill founders could not figure out why non-prescription sunglasses were so expensive. They quickly realized that the reason was the high overhead, sponsoring athletes that they paid millions of dollars to and also the fancy packaging, etc.
Hence, Boston Bill Sunglasses began! Our goal was and still is to keep overhead low which allows us to keep our prices very reasonable.
We are involved in our local community and the military community and donate thousands of dollars in Boston Bill Sunglasses to organizations across our country.
We feel this is our small way of saying thank you for supporting us and thank you to the military for their service to our great country.
